Simply put, cold brew is coffee grounds steeped in room temperature (or cold) water for an extended amount of time – typically somewhere between 12-24 hours. Because there is no heat involved in this process, it allows the solubles in coffee to dissolve fully; resulting in coffee that’s lower in acidity, sweeter in taste, smoother to consume, and typically little to no bitter taste.
HOW TO MAKE COLD BREW COFFEE
With our Charlie Royal Cold Brew Packs, we’ve made the process incredibly simple for you. Put 1 cold brew pack in our mason jar (or other vessel), add 3 cups of filtered water, steep for 12-24 hours (or Charlie’s Recommended Steep Time on the bag), and you have cold brew coffee. After steeping, you can add 2-3 cups of water to dilute and have ready-to-drink cold brew, or play with the water to coffee ratios based on whatever tastes best to you!

HOW LONG DO I STEEP COLD BREW COFFEE FOR?
Cold brew coffee is typically steeped for 12-24 hours. Typically, the longer you steep the bolder the flavor, but don’t go overboard otherwise you risk getting a bitter taste. Try some different steep times until you find that sweet spot that matches your flavor profile perfectly.
